  • EDK / CDIP / CDPE - Schweizerische Konferenz der kantonalen Erziehungsdirektoren
    Die EDK ist der Zusammenschluss der 26 kantonalen Regierungsmitglieder, die für Erziehung, Bildung, Kultur und Sport verantwortlich sind. Die EDK ist verantwortlich für die nationale Koordination in sämtlichen Bereichen der Bildungs- und Kulturpolitik.

  • SVB - Schweizerischer Verband für Berufsberatung
    Der SVB ist die Dachorganisation für Fachleute, Fachverbände und Organisationen, die im Bereich Schul-, Berufs- und Laufbahnberatung tätig sind. Der SVB gibt die Zeitschrift "Panorama" wie auch ein Informationsbulletin auf deutsch und französisch heraus und bietet in seinem Verlag eine Vielzahl von Produkten aus den Bereichen Berufswahl, Laufbahnberatung und Arbeitsmarkt an.
     
  • WAB - Weiterbildungs-Angebots-Börse Schweiz
    WAB gibt einen Überblick über das Weiterbildungsangebot der Schweiz. Es ist ein Informationsangebot der Berufs- und Laufbahnberatung in Zusammenarbeit mit den Bundesämtern für Berufsbildung und Technologie (BBT), Informatik und Telekommunikation (BIT), dem Staatssekretariat für Wirtschaft (seco), dem Verband Schweizerischer Arbeitsämter (VSAA) und dem Schweizerischen Verband für Berufsberatung (SVB).

    Swiss universities and polytechnics present their program of university continuing education on the Swiss Uni internet site
     
  • StudEx - Student and Young Worker Exchange
    On instructions from the BBW / OFES / UFES (Federal Office for Education and Science) Eduswiss runs a student exchange scheme known as StudEx.
    It offers university and institutes of technology students and young graduates from practically all fields, practical training possibilities (traineeships) in Switzerland and Europe.
    In the context of the European Vocational Training Programme, Leonardo da Vinci II , StudEx maintains an extensive network of contacts in Switzerland and the EU/EEA region. This permits the efficient provision of practical training opportunities.
     
  • eduQua - Qualität - Transparenz - Vergleichbarkeit in der Weiterbildung
    Bisher fehlte in der Schweiz ein Qualitätslabel in der Weiterbildung, das allgemein verbindlich und bekannt ist. eduQua wurde entwickelt, um DAS Qualitätslabel für Weiterbildungsinstitutionen zu werden.
    eduQua zeichnet gute Weiterbildungsinstitutionen aus und hat zum Ziel:
    • die Transparenz für Konsumentinnen und Konsumenten zu verbessern
    • die Qualität der Weiterbildungsinstitutionen im Sinne von Minimalstandards zu sichern und zu fördern
    • Grundlage für behördliche Entscheide (Zulassung zur Offertstellung für kollektive und individuelle Kurse, Subventionierung u.a.) zu schaffen

The programme actively supports the lifelong training policies conducted by the Member States. It supports innovative transnational initiatives for promoting the knowledge, aptitudes and skills necessary for successful integration into working life and the full exercise of citizenship.

  • Top Nano 21 - Swiss Research Program on Nanotechnology
    TOP NANO 21 is designed to bundle the strengths and resources of all interested specialists to be found in Switzerland towards economic usage through the creation of new technologies and the development of new products and services as well as the consolidation of existing products.
    The TOP NANO 21 technology platform is made up of specialists from the fields of science and research. They form specific theme-based centers of competence. The aim is to use these networks to pass on their findings and knowledge about the nanometer to the Universities of Applied Science and the industrial sector.
    The protection and exploitation of the intellectual property thus developed is a major objective for TOP NANO 21.
    The integration of the subject of the nanometer in teaching is designed to encourage the development of the next generation of scientists, researchers and engineers.

Europe

  • CERC3 - Chairmen of the European Research Councils Chemistry Committees
    The primary aim of CERC3 is to enable better co-ordination of national research programmes in chemistry in the EU, in order to: achieve a more effective use of both national and international resources; and raise the visibility of chemistry research in Europe. To achieve these objectives, CERC3 undertakes to regularly exchange information between CERC3 research councils on:
    • national priorities in chemistry
    • national practices for the assessment of research and the selection of priorities
    • promote and encourage the use and development of pan-European schemes, eg COST actions, European Science Foundation activities, European Commission RTD framework programmes
      promote the actions of the Alliance for Chemistry and Chemical Technology in Europe (AllChemE)
    • provide a framework for the CERC3 research councils to align their resources into projects carried out by collaborating international research groups
    • organise joint research workshops for young chemists
       
  • CORDIS - Community Research and Development Information Service (European Union)
     
  • COST Chemistry - European Co-operation in the field of Scientific and Technical Research: Technical Committee on Chemistry
    COST was set up to stimulate and to give a framework for the European cooperation in the field of science and technology. Surprisingly Chemistry was missing. In order to maintain and even to improve this position of the European Chemical Science and European Chemical Industry, it has been considered as urgent for European's chemist to organize themselves and to elaborate a strategic scientific scheme for basic research in Chemistry.
     
  • ERC - European Research Council
    The main aim of the ERC is to stimulate scientific excellence by supporting and encouraging the very best, truly creative scientists, engineers and scholars to be adventurous and take risks in their research. The scientists should go beyond established frontiers of knowledge and the boundaries of discipline.
     
  • ESF - European Science Foundation
    The European Science Foundation promotes high quality science at a European level. It acts as a catalyst for the development of science by bringing together leading scientists and funding agencies to debate, plan and implement pan-European initiatives.
     
  • Eureka - Europe-wide network for industrial R&D
     
  • 7th Framework Programme of the European Union
    The EU Framework Programmes for Research and Technological Development are the main instruments of the European Union for the implementation of its common science and technology policy. This policy aims to make research a transnational activity everywhere in Europe where it is appropriate either because of costs and the extent of the research or because it deals with the solution of problems of central importance to the whole of Europe.

Worldwide

  • DRIS - Research information systems worldwide
    Information DRIS is a world-wide overview of current research information systems. The information systems covered by DRIS provide information on research organisations, researchers/scientists (expertise), or research projects/programmes. Some information systems may contain also publications, patents and/or conference papers.
    However, pure bibliographical systems are not included in this inventory.
    DRIS is offered free of charge.

  • Cast - Centre d'appui scientifique et technologique
    Le Cast est une interface entre l'EPFL (Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) et l'économie, en particulier l'industrie. Il mène le programme de liaison industrielle général de l'EPFL et agit comme aiguilleur de l'innovation vers les entreprises technologiques.
     
  • ETH Transfer - Technologie-Transfer Stelle der ETH Zürich
    ETH transfer is the technology transfer office of ETH Zurich. It is a hub of activity interposed between private industry and research. We support researchers in the exploitation of research results, protection of intellectual property, foundation of new companies, and cooperation with private industry. We provide private companies with contacts to research groups and spin-off companies. At the organizational level, ETH transfer is attached to the Research and Industrial Relations Executive at ETH Zurich.
     
  • Z-Link
    Unter dem Namen "Z-link" wollen Universität, ETH und Fachhochschule Zürich den Austausch zwischen Wissenschaft, Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft intensivieren. Die Organisation soll den Kontakt zu den Hochschulen erleichtern.

  • Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property
    The Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property has its headquarters in Berne and is responsible for all matters relating to Intellectual Property in Switzerland. It is the Institute's job to publicise intellectual property legislation in Switzerland. Another of its responsibilities is to point out the relevant information that often lies hidden in the patents and which can often be exploited at very reasonable prices.

  • EPO - European Patent Office
    EPO grants European patents for the contracting states to the European Patent Convention (EPC). It is the executive arm of the European Patent Organisation, an intergovernmental body set up under the EPC, whose members are the EPC contracting states. Switzerland is a member of the EPC.

Through the issuance of patents, we encourage technological advancement by providing incentives to invent, invest in, and disclose new technology worldwide. Through the registration of trademarks, we assist businesses in protecting their investments, promoting goods and services, and safeguarding consumers against confusion and deception in the marketplace. By disseminating both patent and trademark information, we promote an understanding of intellectual property protection and facilitate the developments and sharing of new technologies world wide.
